Auction – WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Friends of Gale Free Library – WE NEED YOUR HELP! The Windows of Opportunity Auction Committee is hard at work soliciting items for our on-line auction to be held April 17-27, 2024 in conjunction with the Windows Gala being held on April 27 at Val’s Restaurant. We have had a good response so far from local businesses but in order to meet our auction goal of $20,000 we need more high-end auction items. If you are able to donate or can connect our committee with someone who can donate one of these items please contact Pat Korandanis at 508-829-9979 or korandanisp@gmail.com.
Items we are in search of include: a weekend or week at a vacation home or timeshare; airline flights or points that are transferable; YETI cooler; TV; bicycle; professional sports tickets; summer/sports camp weeks; golf experiences; computers or tablets; and other exciting/unique experiences.
The addition of these items or items like these will help us to meet our goal. Thanks in advance for your help!

Donations
The Book Cellar will receive book donations on Mondays only, from 1-4 PM. Although The Book Cellar is closed for book sales on Mondays, our volunteer staff will be there to check all books for their resale value and accept those books.
We are fussy. We only accept books that are clean and free from stains and mildew. If your books do not meet our high standards, we will ask you not to leave them with us.
Note: We do not accept text books, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, VHS videos, CDs.
We cannot receive books on Saturdays due to the congestion it causes in the hallway when patrons are entering our beautiful shop. We must be mindful of the fire hazards in the hallway when leaving books unattended. Please do not leave books in any hallways, outside the library or in the book return bins. We appreciate and thank you for your understanding.
